Overview
Trading Journal Pro (“The App”) is designed with one core privacy principle: your data is yours, and only yours.
We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data or usage information—ever.
Data collection
We collect no data. This includes:
- No personal information such as your name, email, or phone number
- No financial data sent to any server
- No trade history uploaded anywhere
- No device identifiers or location data
- No usage analytics or crash reporting
- No advertising identifiers (IDFA)
- No cookies or tracking pixels
Where your data lives
Everything you enter is stored exclusively in two places, both fully under your control:
Local storage on your iPhone or iPad.
Your personal iCloud account, only if you enable sync.
Apple’s iCloud is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. We have zero access to your iCloud data.
Third-party services
Trading Journal Pro uses no third-party SDKs, analytics tools, or advertising networks.
Subscriptions and payments
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see, handle, or store your payment information.
Children’s privacy
The App does not target children under 13. Because we collect no data from anyone, no special measures for children are required beyond this statement.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes—for example, if a future feature requires data—we will update this page with a new date and notify users through an in-app notice before the change takes effect.
